Walk from Landguard Point to the Pier and back, maybe even all the way to Old Felixstowe. Nearly a full days adventure.

SHORTER WALKS
Landguard Common.
30 minutes walk.
The nature reserve, half a mile away with an old fort and walks with a view over the Port fence. Quite the contrast.
Viewing Point Cafe.
30 minutes walk.
Also half a mile away by the nature reserve. Watch the ships from the cafe, indoors or outside seating.
The Pier - head left at the beach.
15 minutes walk.
The bar over the sea, with amusements and an arcade with all you would expect from a sea side town.
Beach St - bars and good food.
2 minutes walk.
Fine food and drinks with boutique bars to make the road a distant memory for just a few hours.

An even shorter walk than McDonald’s is a large Lidl store for fresh groceries when our shop is closed.

Fish and chips on the Promendade. Head for the beach, turn left and on the first corner on the left.
Indian Restaurant
A 25 minute walk and a hill in-between you and fine dining. Worth the trek along the sea front.
Chinese Takeaway - China City
60 seconds away from the gates is a local takeaway. Head for the beach, just on the right. Trip Advisor.
Local Pub
The Dolphin Hotel is 30 seconds walk from the truck stop. Head for the beach, before the traffic lights .
